The Cracks
Shark channel
Franklin Bay
"Los perros" Beach
A 15-minute walk over volcanic rock. The Cracks are a continuation of the Shark Channel and the Love Channel, where the water is less salty.
Ideal place to swim in fresh, crystal-clear water.
Fissure formed by swellings of the magma chamber where the Tintorera ravin sharks sleep.
Snorkeling site. You can see sea turtles, golden rays, and eagle rays. In the mangrove area, pelicans and herons nest depending on the season.
Walk along the beach, named for the number of "Dog Crabs" found in the area, where we will observe the largest marine iguanas in Santa Cruz.
