Visiting sites
A 15-minute walk over volcanic rock. Las Grietas is a continuation of the Shark Channel and the Love Channel, where the water is less salty. An ideal spot for swimming in cool, crystal-clear water.
Fissure formed by swellings of the magma chamber where the Tintorera de barranco sharks sleep.
Snorkeling site. You can see sea turtles, golden rays, and eagle rays. In the mangrove area, pelicans and herons nest depending on the time of year.
Walk along the beach, named for the number of "Dog Crabs" found in the area, where we will observe the largest marine iguanas in Santa Cruz.
